In Polish: Kredyt Na Start
This is the word you will see in bank documents.
Definition
Kredyt Na Start, officially the '#naStart housing loan', is a government instalment subsidy programme announced from 2024 that was meant to replace Safe Loan 2%. The draft act (UA4) is listed as 'withdrawn' in the Council of Ministers' legislative work list and never came into force. In October 2026 there is no announced instalment subsidy programme for buying a home.
What it means for you
Do not plan a purchase around Kredyt Na Start: the programme cannot be used and there is no date when that might change. If you do not have a full down payment, look at the Family Housing Loan with a BGK guarantee. Waiting for a new programme costs you rent and uncertainty about prices and rates.
