In Polish: Harmonogram spłat
This is the word you will see in bank documents.
Definition
A repayment schedule (harmonogram spłat) is a table of the dates and amounts of loan instalments, splitting each instalment into capital and interest and showing the balance after it. The bank attaches it to the agreement and makes it available in online banking. With a variable rate it is valid only until the next benchmark change.
What it means for you
From the schedule you can read how much of the loan will remain after a few years and how much interest you will pay if the rate does not change. This matters when planning a sale, refinancing and overpayments. After every overpayment, check the new schedule to confirm the capital and the instalment or number of instalments changed as you instructed.

Frequently asked questions
Where can I find my loan repayment schedule?
It is an annex to the loan agreement and is usually available in online banking. After every rate change the bank prepares a new one.
Why do I mostly pay interest at the start?
Because interest is calculated on the balance, which is highest at the start. For PLN 500,000 over 30 years at 6.5%, of the first instalment of PLN 3,160 as much as PLN 2,708 is interest.
Does the repayment schedule change?
Yes: with a variable rate after every benchmark change, with a fixed rate after the fixed period ends, and also after an overpayment or a change in the loan term.
