In Polish: Dokumenty do kredytu
This is the word you will see in bank documents.
Definition
Mortgage documents are the set of papers on the basis of which the bank assesses your creditworthiness and the property you want to buy. They fall into three groups: personal, income and property documents. The exact list depends on the type of income, the market and the bank.
What it means for you
Complete documents shorten the wait for a decision, and every missing certificate sent later means a few days' delay. Some documents expire after about 30 days, so if the process drags on, you have to order them again. Inconsistencies between documents, e.g. different income on the certificate than in bank statements, can lead to refusal.

Frequently asked questions
What documents do I need for a mortgage in Poland?
An ID document, income documents, bank statements, information on other loans and property documents, i.e. the preliminary or developer agreement and the land register number. Foreigners also show a residence card or registration certificate and a PESEL number.
Do I need a copy of the land register for a mortgage?
Usually the register number is enough, because the bank checks its content in the Electronic Land Registers system. For a cooperative flat without a register you need a certificate from the cooperative.
Can mortgage documents be submitted online?
Yes, most banks and experts accept scans or photos if they are fully legible. The bank may want to see the originals when you sign the agreement.
