In Polish: ESIS (formularz informacyjny)
This is the word you will see in bank documents.
Definition
ESIS (formularz informacyjny) is the document in which a bank, broker or agent presents a personalised mortgage offer on the uniform template annexed to the Polish Mortgage Credit Act. You receive it before submitting the application at the latest, and its information is valid for at least 14 days. The name comes from EU Directive 2014/17/EU.
What it means for you
The form lets you compare offers from several banks point by point, because the same information is always in the same place. If you apply within the validity period, the terms in the form bind the bank. Compare the APR and the total cost, not just the instalment. In Poland the form is issued in Polish, so ask your expert to go through it with you.
